Raspberry Interior Design
Raspberry Interiors is an Essex based company run by Tracey Hatch and her daughter Abby Keene with a reputation for having a friendly approach, great style and a realistic outlook on every project. We work from our Shenfield showroom which has a lovely relaxed atmosphere but very much a working environment. It's a good place for our clients to come into and mull over new or ongoing designs inspired by our eclectic and varied samples.

We can also accommodate meetings with our clients architects or builders offering a quiet escape from a busy, noisy building site. If you were thinking of coming to see us, please call ahead in case we are out on an appointment 07889 094438 or 01277 500554.
Services
First step is to arrange an initial free of charge appointment to decide which design service best suits you.
It may be that you just need advice on colours, furniture layout & soft furnishings or you may require us to become your decision maker and work alongside your architect/builder contractor.
This one-off fee allows us to take a full brief for one or multiple rooms either working off plan or by home visits.
Sketches, concept images, costing, samples, finishes and supplier details are presented over a few meetings until the final design(s) are agreed.
We made this clients dated conservatory feel like an elegant orangery by lowering the existing brickwork to allow for taller windows and doors.
Our pinoleum roof blinds help cool the sun and the new under floor heating keep it warm in the winter enabling our clients to use this space all year round.
Decluttering this characterful cottage of its curtains, dark furniture & heavy lighting and replacing with lighter colours and streamlined furniture has created a light, bright contemporary room without losing any of its rustic charm.
An interior designer makes indoor spaces functional, safe & beautiful by planning furniture, kitchen & bathroom layouts teamed with the selecting of essential and decorative items.
An interior designer will be able to read & understand architects plans and have knowledge of the structural impact that re-configuration of internal walls or the repositioning of windows & doors might have.
Ideally before any work starts.
They will be able to recognise if a space would benefit from a change in size or shape, whether it lacks natural light or doesn't make the most of views, whether it will be cold or hot - all points that need to be discussed early on.
