Tanya is a Member of the British Institute of Interior Design and has a Diploma in Interior Design from the world renowned KLC School of Design, Chelsea. A varied career path has given her a wide ranging wealth of experience and she combines the two essential elements of a professional interior designer - creativity and practicality - with great organisational skills thrown in for good measure.
Much of her recent work has been on architect designed new build houses in some amazing coastal locations in Cornwall, but Tanya has also worked on everything from a grade II* listed manor house in Dorset to superyachts at Pendennis Shipyard. Tanya loves getting to know what makes her clients tick, enabling her to create designs that reflect their personalities.
Regular visits to key trade shows in London and Continuing Professional Development keep her up to speed, most recently getting to grips with 3D CAD drawings to bring spaces to life, enabling clients to envisage the end result. With the complete renovation of a pair of traditional cottages in Rock under their belts, Tanya and her late husband built their own contemporary new house, overlooking the creek at Mylor in 2014, a project Tanya managed entirely, from start to finish.
