ID Interior Design was established in 1943 in Sheffield. Although we have come a long way since then we are still creating cutting edge design tailor-made to each individual client.
Our independent family run business is now based in a Grade II listed old Coach House property, one of a group of sympathetically converted buildings in the Hathersage Hall Business Centre in Derbyshire, with inspirational views out onto the Peak National Park; just 20 minutes' drive from Sheffield, but within easy reach of all counties surrounding the Peak District.

Owner Sarah Cooper came to ID Interior Design in 1982 with a BA (Hons) degree in Interior Design after graduating from Nottingham Trent University.
Her customers will testify that she is as keen as ever; her reward is the satisfaction of successfully transforming a room or a whole house for her clients.
With over 35 years of experience within the interior design industry, Sarah has a wealth of knowledge and experience in creating classic and contemporary interiors for a diverse range of properties, hotels and restaurants.

ID Interior Design provides a bespoke interior design consultancy service; the team of professionally trained designers led by Sarah are able to undertake a wide range of projects, from individual rooms, complete houses, offices or hotels.
Our designers are very 'hands on' often in and out of the studio on home design visits; therefore, we would advise you to make an appointment prior to a studio visit to avoid disappointment.

Ideal if you're looking to refresh one room with curtains, blinds, soft-furnishings, wallpaper or paint.
A member of our team will work closely with you to pull together a scheme which suits your style and budget.
An appointment is not required.
This takes place at our Hathersage design studio.
This appointment will take place within your home and will include suggestions on rearranging existing furniture, lighting and accessories, followed by advice on updating a room with new paint, lighting, furniture, fabric and wallpaper, however, these suggestions aren't compulsory.
